Dr. Barbara Rush, N.D., is a dedicated practitioner of naturopathic and integrative medicine with over two decades of experience helping patients achieve balanced, optimal health. Since establishing her practice in 2005, Dr. Rush has specialized in functional, holistic, and alternative medicine, addressing a wide range of conditions, including hormonal imbalances, cardiovascular concerns, infertility, environmental illness, anti-aging, and chronic health challenges. Her approach emphasizes prevention as much as treatment, empowering patients to take control of their long-term well-being.

As a Licensed Naturopathic Doctor, Dr. Rush brings a comprehensive and individualized perspective to patient care. She integrates traditional healing principles rooted in ancient wisdom with evidence-based science, utilizing advanced laboratory testing and personalized treatment protocols to identify and address the root causes of disease. Her clinical expertise includes IV nutrient therapy, IV ozone therapy, chelation therapy, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), natural cardiovascular programs, and functional medicine approaches tailored to each patient’s unique needs. She also does genetic testing, using peptides and bioregulators to treat her patients.

Dr. Rush earned her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, now known as the National University of Natural Medicine, in Portland, Oregon. She also completed advanced training at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, where she developed her foundation in acupuncture and Eastern medical philosophy. This dual training allows her to blend modern diagnostics with time-honored therapeutic techniques to create truly integrative treatment plans.

Central to Dr. Rush’s philosophy is the belief that medicine should be a partnership. She takes the time to listen carefully to each patient, recognizing that every individual is unique and deserves a customized plan that supports physical, mental, and emotional health. Rather than simply managing symptoms, she works collaboratively with patients to prevent illness, restore vitality, and promote longevity through natural therapies and thoughtful hormone optimization.

At Holtorf Medical Group, we value physicians who share our commitment to comprehensive, patient-centered care. Dr. Rush’s dedication to functional and preventive medicine aligns with our mission of addressing complex chronic conditions and restoring optimal health. If you are struggling with hormonal imbalance, cardiovascular concerns, fatigue, infertility, or chronic health issues, Dr. Barbara Rush and our experienced team are here to guide you toward renewed health and vitality.
